Harvey Alvin Korpi, age 78 of Finlayson, MN passed away on July 5, 2024.

Harvey was born July 3, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He moved to Finlayson as a child and graduated from Finlayson High School. After graduating Harvey went to trade school where he found a lifelong career in machining. He married his loving wife, Cheryl on February 18, 1966. Together they had three children.

Harvey enjoyed talking on his HAM radio, fishing, gardening, mowing his lawn, and tinkering in the garage.

Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Opal Korpi.

He is survived by  his wife, Cheryl; his sister, Linda Nelson;  his children, Laurie (Steve) Mccullen, Lisa (Michael) Menard, and Jamie (Jasper) Korpi; his grandchildren, Ashley (Michael), Amanda (Chris), Cheyenne, and Isabella; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Mason and Emma.

A private gathering will be held at a later date.
