With profound sadness we announce the passing of Grace Marie Gilly, our loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend to all whose lives she touched.  Grace passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 in Bemidji MN at the age of 19.

Grace had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile.  She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate.  She loved fishing, deer hunting, spending time with her pets, going to the cabin, shopping at Target, hanging with her friends, baking, watching her cartoons, getting all dressed up for Winter Formal and Prom and competing with her brothers in everything she could.  Her relationship with her brothers and cousins throughout the years was so cherished.

Grace was involved in MAYRA Hockey, Volleyball, Band, National Honor Society and strived to have her name listed on High Honors every quarter.  She was accepted into the RN program at Bemidji State University where she was pursuing her dream career as a Registered Nurse.  Grace was listed on the Deans List while a student at Bemidji State which was always important to her.

Grace is proceeded in death by her grandmother Kathleen Skramstad, Great Grandparents Robert Felland, Harold and Lila Skramstad, YiaYia and Pouli Tsikretsis, and Daniel and Darlene Gilly, along with her beloved dog Jack.

She leaves behind her parents Todd and Kasey Gilly.  Brothers Tyler (Bree), Thomas, Gavin (Tove) and Ashton.  Grandparents Greg and Jane Skramstad and Gary and Jay Gilly and Great Grandmother Joan Felland along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and best friend Madison Brostrom.

When you think of Grace, celebrate the good memories you have of her.  Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.  She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Grace Lutheran Church in Mora with Rev. Gary Guptill officiating.  A visitation will take place from 2 until 3 P.M. at the church.  In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
