Grace DeLaney, of Hinckley, passed away after a long battle with lung cancer, on April 14, 2022, in Sandstone, Minnesota.  She was 74 years old.

Grace DeLaney (nee Mudgett) born May 27, 1947 in Ladysmith, WI to Melville and Francis (Pockett) Mudgett.  She spent her teenage years in St. Paul, Minnesota and then later settled in Hinckley where she was a longtime resident.

Grace was a waitress at Tobies and worked at the Grand Casino in the laundry department.  She was a hard worker and one of the nicest people you could ever meet.

She is preceded in death by her husband Patrick DeLaney (married in 1967, died 1984), daughter Shelly DeLaney (died 2009), great-grandson Amir Coleman (died 2010), brothers: Allen, Vernon, Jesse, Milford, Eddie, Bobby, Dean, and Clyde (all last name Mudgett), sisters: Lorna Wold, Fran Turitto, Helen Falz, long time companion Dennis Eiffler Sr and Dennis' son Dennis Eiffler Jr (both died 2021).

Grace is survived by her daughter Tracey DeLaney (Buckhannon, WV), sisters: Jennie Royce and Joyce Madigan (both in St. Paul, MN), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In following with Grace's wishes, there will be no funeral services.
