She was also very active in the Twin Cities needlework communities, practicing the avocations that she deeply loved. She gave freely of her time in teaching needlework, serving in several positions with the Needlework Guild of Minnesota, the Minnesota chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild, volunteering for these organizations, and participating and organizing retreats with other stitchers. She was also proficient in knitting and belonged to the Minnesota Knitters Guild.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Evelyn . She is survived by husband, Mark, brother Gary, sister Diane and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be sent (given) to Minnesota ovarian cancer alliance, animal humane society, or the wild cat sanctuary in Sandstone MN.
The Family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and support.
