George Theodore Magnuson Jr. died on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Hennepin County Medical Center.  He was 81 years old.

George was born on September 23, 1941 in Anoka, MN to George Theodore Magnuson Sr. and Myrtis Ann Magnuson.  He loved garage sailing, fishing no matter the time of the year, hunting and antiques – especially antique cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtis; sister, Yvonne (Vonnie) Huckstep, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

George is survived by his wife, Mary Magnuson; his children, Russell (Katie) Magnuson, Dan Magnuson, Steven (Candy) Magnuson, Tammey (Michael) Anderson, Richard Blazejak, Paula (Christopher) Eakman, Braydin Eakman, Bryce Blazejak and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held for George on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 1pm to 4 pm at Freddie's Family Restaurant in Mora, MN.
