**A CELEBRATION OF LIFE HAS BEEN PLANNED TO HONOR FRANK AT 1 PM ON SATURDAY, MAY 31, 2025 AT THE FINLAYSON-GIESE SPORTSMAN CLUB, FINLAYSON, MN. VISITATION WILL START AT NOON WITH A MEMORIAL SERVICE AT 1PM**

Franklin "Frank" Delano Lewis, formerly of Finlayson, MN passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Essentia Health-St. Mary Campus in Duluth, MN. He was 89 years old.

Frank was born on March 5, 1936 to Harmon and Christina (Brunigar) Lewis in Finlayson, MN. He grew up on the family farm and attended school in Finlayson throughout his childhood. In November of 1964 Frank married Michelle Scheller, together they raised three children, Matthew, Kathrine, and Peggy. Throughout the years Frank worked a variety of jobs from working on the family farm, to heavy equipment operator, and designing some of the most beautiful wood cabinets in the area. There were a lot of hobbies that Frank loved to take part in, from hunting, fishing, archery, traveling to Arizona in the fifth wheel, but the thing he loved the most was doing things with his family.

Frank is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Michelle; parents Harmon and Christine; ten siblings; a half brother; two half sisters; many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Frank is survived by his his three children, his brother Jim Lewis, his sister, Myrtle Romanowski, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held for Frank at 1pm on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Finnish Lutheran Cemetery in Finlayson, MN.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Frank at 1pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Finlayson-Giese Sportsman's Club in Finlayson, MN. Visitation will begin at noon.
