Frank (Frankie) William Stipe, of Hinckley, died on August 17, 2022 at the age of 87.

Frankie was the youngest of three children.  Born March 10, 1935, in Forest Lake, MN, to Frank Sr. & Helen (Skoglund) Stipe.  In the 70's he moved to Hinckley, MN, a community who graciously welcomed and embraced him.

Throughout his life he was a very hard worker and held many jobs like travelling with Stipe Shows carnival, working at the greenhouse in Forest Lake, caretaker at Rosehill Cemetery in Hinckley, mowing lawns and shoveling snow.

Frankie was a sweet, kind, thoughtful and funny man who made a lasting impression on anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.

He enjoyed laughter, Ole and Lena jokes, a good story (did you hear the one about how he killed two deer with one bullet?), playing games, specifically Farkel; carnivals, collecting stuffed animals, Halloween, dressing up as Santa Claus and giving out presents, recycling aluminum, bingo, bomber hats, live music, burgers, Braunschweiger, a cold beer and a tin of snus.

Frankie was a permanent fixture in the VonRueden and Kirchmeier households for over 30 years.

Frankie will be greatly missed by his bonus family and caregivers: Desirae Kirchmeier; Gary Kirchmeier III, Jacob Lincoln, Landon Kirchmeier, his PHASE & CLO teams, his friends from Kurt's Station, Slim's, The Final Score, Bogey's on Main and a host of other friends and relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. & Helen Stipe, brother, Richard (Dickie) Stipe, his sister Shirley Mae Stipe, caregivers Alice VonRueden and Rhonda Kirchmeier.

Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
