Evelyn "Fluffy" Lee Jarosiewicz, 75, a dynamic businesswoman, passionate coach, and pillar of the East Side community, passed away peacefully at her home on July 7, 2026.

Born on June 19, 1951, Evelyn approached life with a fierce work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and an unmatched sense of humor. Known for her sharp mind and grit, she spent decades owning and operating local bars and a neighborhood bait shop. She loved meeting people, swapping stories, and providing a welcoming spot for locals and travelers alike. Her businesses were more than jobs; they were community gathering hubs.
Above all, Evelyn poured her heart into caring for those she loved. She was an exceptional cook and baker who found her greatest joy in feeding her family. Whether it was a holiday feast or a simple Sunday gathering, her kitchen was always filled with warmth, incredible food, and a sense of togetherness.

Her heart also belonged to youth sports and neighborhood development. As a dedicated volunteer with the Phalen Lake Booster Society, Evelyn worked tirelessly to build vibrant spaces for youth recreation. She shared her love for sports on the field, serving as an impactful softball coach and a dedicated fixture with the Johnson High School Hawks. Evelyn was known for her coaching style—teaching confidence, teamwork, and resilience to generations of players. Whether she was managing an order at the bait shop, cooking a huge family meal, or cheering wildly from the softball sidelines, her energy was unforgettable.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Gloria Stafne and her beloved daughter, Kelly Flaherty.

Evelyn leaves behind a lasting legacy of hard work, laughter, and community pride. She is survived by her loving son, Leonard Jarosiewicz; her cherished grandchildren, Tiffany Jarosiewicz, Brittany Jarosiewicz, Dean Flaherty, Brianna Flaherty, and Alex Pulkrabek; her sisters, Cindy, Sharen, and Karen; and her brother, Dan. She is also missed deeply by a wide circle of friends, former athletes, and patrons.
