Duane E. Altman died on November 30, 2024, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  He was 89 years and seven days old.

Duane was born to Irene and John Altman on November 22, 1935, in Ann Lake Township.  He graduated from Ogilvie High School in 1953.  After a few more years on the farm, he attended the Community College Technical Institute in Winona, Minnesota.  He married Sally (Sarah) Olson on May 9, 1972.  He started work at Honeywell and then moved on to Sperry Unisys in Roseville until his retirement in 1992.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Kenneth, Rodger, Ray and baby brother LaVerne and sister Cleo Johnson.

Duane is survived by his wife Sally and many nieces and nephews, and of course lots of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11:00AM at Calvary Lutheran Church in Mora with Rev. Steven Sylvester officiating.  Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. at the church.  Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery with military honors being provided by Mora American Legion Lee Goldsmith Post 201.
