Dorothy "D.B." Johnson passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, with her daughter Sandra and son-in-law Steve at her side. Her favorite hymns were playing as she passed into the loving arms of Jesus.

Dorothy was born on February 22, 1933, in Isle MN, to Howard and Florence Nellie Haggberg. She attended and graduated from the Isle High School, where she was very active in band and music. She was an active member of the Isle Baptist Church for many years, where she continued to use her extraordinary piano talents. Many in the community will remember D.B. as their piano teacher. She taught her last pupil at the age of 89 years old.

D.B. is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Florence Nellie Haggberg, her beloved brother Ray Haggberg, and her precious Uncle Joe and Auntie Dorothy Lindholm.

She is survived by her daughters, Marilee Maddox of Missouri, Sandy (Steve) Ridgway of Harpers Ferry, WV, one brother, Al (Kathy) Lindholm, granddaughters Kelly (Jason) Grey, and Dr Alisha Couch (Steven Yam) and grandson Patrick Skaja. She was also great-grandmother to Shamus, Maci, and Delaney Grey and Ellison Yam. She is remembered with love by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A private burial will be held at the Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Isle, MN. with a Celebration of Life being planned for August.
