It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dianna Angelique (Novak) Olson, who left us unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the age of 55. A beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend, Dianna's warmth and nurturing spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Dianna was born on August 15, 1970, in Duluth, MN, to George and Sandra (Hemsley) Novak. She spent her formative years in Cloquet, MN, later moving to Minneapolis after graduating from Cloquet Senior High School. In her professional life, she made significant contributions at Holiday Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington before finding fulfillment in her role at the Pine County Sheriff's Office.

On April 16, 1994, Dianna married, Keith Olson. Together, they made their home in Finlayson, MN, where they created many treasured memories over 32 years of marriage. Dianna was a devoted wife and a proud mother to her sons, Jesse and Josey, as well as a loving grandmother to her grandsons, James and Jaxon.

Dianna was a woman of many passions. She loved to fish, care for her animals, take long walks, and enjoy camping trips in nature. Her sense of adventure and zest for life inspired those around her to embrace the joy in everyday moments.

Dianna is preceded in death by her parents, George and Sandra Novak, and her in-laws, Shirley and Dennis Olson. She is survived by her husband, Keith; her sons, Jesse (Brenna Clemmer) of Mora, MN, and Josey of Minneapolis, MN; her grandsons, James and Jaxon Olson of Mora, MN; her sisters, Jessica Novak of Two Harbors, MN, and Lisa Novak; her aunt and uncle, Leo and Jan Novak of New London, Spicer, MN; and many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service in honor of Dianna will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Dell Grove Emmanuel Lutheran Church, located at 16752 Grindstone Lake Road, Dell Grove Township, MN. Pastor Tim Ehling will officiate the service. Prior to the ceremony, visitation will take place from 1 PM to 2 PM at the church. A lite lunch will be served following the service. Dianna's burial will take place at a later date.
