Dennis "Denny" Tenhoff, 79, of Isle, MN passed away on November 28, 2025 at Moose Lake Village. Denny was born on October 13, 1946 in Minneapolis to Kenneth and Janette Tenhoff. He grew up in St. Louis Park and in high school was active in baseball and football.

Denny married Anita Mortenson and in 1970 they were blessed with a son, Brett. They later divorced.  Denny worked as an autobody man for many years while raising his son.  He was active in a men's softball league.

In 1989 he moved up to his beloved cabin on Mille Lacs Lake.  In 1990, he married Ruth "Ruby" Olson and they bought a home in the country in Isle. He began his career "up north" as a bartender at resorts along Mille Lacs Lake.

Denny enjoyed time on the lakes fishing with his buddies.  His favorite time of year was deer hunting season when Brett and a few of his friends would come up to hunt two weekends of the season at "Tenhoff Deer Camp", where evenings were spent playing cards and rolling dice.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Bonita Roitenberg.  He is survived by wife Ruby, son Brett (and wife Michele), granddaughters Abby and Paige, his two nieces and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Flagship MSA on Mille Lacs Lake from 1:00-4:00 pm on January 24th.
