Dennis R. Gunderson died on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at his home in Isle.  He was 90 years old.

Dennis was born on May 21, 1931 in Sisseton, S.D. to William and Laura (Rolstad) Gunderson. He grew up in Sisseton, South Dakota.  He raised his family in Mendota Heights and has called Isle his home since 1986.  Dennis is a retired worker of the Ford Motor Plant.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sally; his daughter, Denise Bell and his grandson, Scott Bell.

Dennis is survived by his children, Patrice (Roger) Peterson, Pam (Mike) Settje, Jim Gunderson; son-in-law Jim Bell; ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Methven Funeral Home, Mile Lacs Chapel, in Isle with Fr. Jerry Schik, OSC officiating.  Visitation will be from 11 A.M. – 12 P.M.  Casketbearers are Lindsay Thomas, Lisa Zenker, Denni Gunderson, David Gunderson, Grant Settje and Garrett Settje.  Honorary Casketbearers are Sarah Gunderson, Cassie Kunkel, Marie Jordon and Nicole Settje.  Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wahkon with military honors being provided by the Isle Honor Guard.
