Dennis Harold Fisher, of North Branch, Minnesota, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2026, at Regions Hospital. He was 82 years old and spent his life making cherished memories with those he loved.

Dennis was born in Askov, Minnesota, on September 24, 1943. He graduated from Askov High School in 1961 and later attended Dakota County Area Vocational Technical College, where he earned several certificates in Electronics. Dennis proudly served in the Minnesota National Guard from 1965 to 1971.

On June 11, 1966, he married the love of his life, Sharon (Peterson) Fisher, in Kroschel, MN. They built a beautiful life together, raising their family in Bloomington, MN, before retiring to North Branch, MN, and enjoying winters in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Dennis had a long and fulfilling career at 3M, starting at SCM and continuing after they were bought out by the company. He was dedicated to his work, becoming a Master Technician before retiring after nearly 40 years. Outside of work, he loved camping, dancing, playing cribbage, and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time on his front porch with a cocktail in his hand and giving the neighbors a hard time as they walked by.

He will always be remembered as a wonderful husband and a caring father and grandfather with an infectious laugh, silly jokes and kind spirit. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Harold Fisher, and his son, Cary Fisher.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sharon Fisher, his daughter Jodi Fisher from Sandstone, MN, his son Brian (Teresa) Fisher from Kalispell, MT, seven grandchildren; Ali, Alex, Rachell, Matthew, Sam, Nicholas and Natalie, two great-grandchildren; Selah and Livvy, and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral services for Dennis will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch, MN with a luncheon to follow. There will be a visitation one hour before the service. He will then be laid to rest at St. John's Cemetery in Kroschel, MN, at approximately 2:30PM following the luncheon at the church. Dennis will be deeply missed but always remembered fondly by all who knew him.
