David Michael Wenner passed away peacefully on February 25th, 2026, at the age of 80.  He was born on April 19th, 1945, in Great Falls, Montana, the son of William and Constance Wenner.  David graduated from Northfield High School in June 1963 and subsequently enlisted in the United States Navy serving for four years.  During this time, David served on the aircraft carriers USS Midway and USS America as a radar operator and electronics technician.  After leaving the service, he met Karin Lee Sundlin and they were married on July 6th, 1968.

David was an avid singer and fisherman and aspired to live on lake Mille Lacs. A little over twenty years ago, upon retirement, he was able to realize that dream. A regular at the MSA Flagship, especially on karaoke nights, he found a community of friends whom he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with.

His surviving family members are his children: Teresa Sundlin (Daughter), Tony and Tim Wenner (Sons). Grandchildren: Shawn, Heather, Rebecca, Meaghan, Thorin, Rhiannon, Jacob, Matthew, Hayden, and Mallory. Several Great-Grandchildren, his brother Craig Doty and sister-in-law Sandy Wenner. David was preceded in death by his beloved wife Karin, his parents, and brother Gerald Wenner.
