Daniel Lester Ziegler died on Friday, August 28, 2026 at the Sandstone Health Care Center. He was 58 years old.

Dan was born in Mora, Mn and raised in Sandstone MN where he graduated high school in 87. He had lived for the past 20ish years in Askov, MN. He had worked as a karaoke DJ known as 'Dan the Man' and was a caretaker of the Vossevagen apartments. He enjoyed 4 wheeling, music and karaoke. He loved Elvis and Johnny Cash as well as having a good time with family and friends.

Dan is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Elsie Ziegler

He is survived by his father, Carlyle Sr. (Penny) Ziegler of Beverly Hills, FL; brother, Carlyle Jr. (Linda) Ziegler of Sandstone, MN; sister, Dawn (Mike) Robinson of Joplin, MO; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Methven Funeral Home in Sandstone with Pastor Jim Laposky officiating. Visitation will be from 11 until 1 P.M., also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Spring Park Cemetery in Sandstone.
