Daniel Jelle, 75, of Nashwauk, MN passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born in Thief River Falls, MN on February 14, 1948 to Jorgen and Kathleen (Johannessohn) Jelle. On July 12, 1986 he married Francine (Cameron) Lundblad, then settled in Nashwauk where he lived for over 30 years.

Daniel loved his music, collecting rocks, and spending time with his family and friends. He was incredibly talented creating art of all different sorts.

He is survived by his children: Tamera (Allyn) Denny, Jason (Tami) Lundblad, Heather Halverson (John Bonnette), Sarah (Aaron) Verke, and Jessica Jelle (Joe Udovich); Sisters: Wanda (Warren) Eckman, Virginia Pudwill, and Valerie Jordan; 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews, extended family and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Francine; his sisters, Hope Eliason and Rosalie McComb; and son, Cameron Lundblad.

We are deeply saddened by this loss of our dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be greatly missed.

A gathering of family and friends is being planned for a later date.
