It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danette "Netty" Daria Sanders, who left us on March 9, 2024, at her home in Pine City, MN. Born on October 30, 1961, at General Hospital in Minneapolis, Danette was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away from liver failure, surrounded by love and memories of all the lives she touched.

Netty found joy in the simple things in life - collecting butterflies, playing with her grandchildren, and offering a helping hand to anyone in need. Her greatest pleasure was seeing those around her happy and feeling loved, a sentiment she carried with her throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Rants, and her sons, Robert Rants and Jonathon Sanders. Danette was also adored by her precious grandchildren, Shyanne, Gavin, Jasper, and Dennis. She is joined in mourning by her sisters, Devy, Dawn, Doris, Laura, and her brother, Mike. Danette was preceded in death by her father, David Sanders, her mother, Bertha Sorsonsen, and her niece, Janel.

Rest in peace, Danette. Your spirit will live on in the hearts of those you touched.
