Connie Marie Parsons passed away on November 16, 2021 at the Gardens at Foley, at the age of 59.

Connie was born on February 7, 1962 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Karl and Marlene Kelch. She grew up in Champlin, MN and then resided mainly in Sandstone, MN. She graduated high school in Anoka, MN in 1980. Throughout her life she worked as a full-time mother and casino employee. Connie was a cancer survivor who faced several adversities in life. She was a fighter, with tremendous courage and a strong will.

Connie was an avid reader, puzzle solver and Sudoku master. She loved playing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a dedicated watcher of old black and white movies and an Elvis fanatic. Connie was very kind, loving, caring and helpful to everyone. She was a beloved "second mom" to many.

She is preceded in death by her father, Karl Kelch and her mother, Marlene Kelch.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Heather Melzark (Al Gutierrez), son, Andrew Yanko (Madaline Trumble), daughter, Kori Parsons (Dom Anderson); her grandchildren, Lane, Owen, Sophia, and Camdin; brothers, William Kelch and Mark Kelch (Peggy); sister, Deborah Haugen; nephews, Thomas, Matthew, Jeremy, Cody, and Harley; niece, Trisha.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Methven Funeral Home in Sandstone with Rev. Kate Mensing officiating.  Casketbearers are Andrew Yanko, William Kelch, Mark Kelch, Thomas Haugen, Matthew Haugen and Dom Anderson.  Burial will be at the Markville Cemetery.
