Cody Harrison Podlewski of Askov, MN passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 7, 2023. He was 37 years old.

Cody was born on April 9, 1986, to Darton and Ronnell (Reiling) Podlewski in Duluth, MN. He was a loving guy that always took other people's feelings into consideration, his mom always said he was born a caretaker. Cody was a loving brother and son. When it was time for Cody to start school, he was enrolled at Harvest Christian School, moving on to being home schooled, until he decided to finish his schooling attending Willow River High School. Cody primarily lived most of his life in Askov with short amounts of time living in Florida, then moving back to Minnesota and living in Sturgeon Lake, Sandstone, Willow River and then settling back in Askov. Cody loved to work with his hands and could fix almost anything. He was very helpful to his family and friends when they couldn't figure something out, Cody would work on it and find a way to make it work again. The thing that brought Cody the most pride and joy were his four daughters. He was a loving father and would do anything to bring a smile to his daughters' faces. Cody enjoyed going on adventures with his children, especially driving up the North Shore and finding new spots to explore. If the girls and Cody stayed at home, you could bet that there would be a gaming war going on.

Cody is preceded in death by his father, Darton; brother, Abraham (infant); sister, Sarah (infant); grandmothers, Carolee and Ruth; and grandfather, Stephen.

Cody is survived by his four daughters, Dakota of Askov, MN, Miah of Askov, MN, Lillian of Pine City, MN, Emma of Pine City, MN; mother, Ronnell of Askov, MN; brother, Orion (Doris) of Askov, MN; sister, Sierra (Zack) of Sturgeon Lake, MN; and granddaughter, Lyla of Pine City, MN.

As a family we were and are very close, losing Cody leaves a huge hole in our hearts. We know Cody is in heaven now with his loving savior. Amen.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Cody on Sunday, June 25, 2023, from 1pm to 4 pm at 1117 Ash Ave, Sandstone, MN. The family ask if you are planning on attending, please bring lawn chairs if you have them.
