Christopher Michael Sam, "Zhaangweshi",  died on Thursday, December 15, 2022.  He was 29 years old.

Christopher loved playing video games, basketball and listening to music. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his wife. He enjoyed laughing and joking around. He had a smile that would light up the room and a beautiful laugh to go with it. He was very loved and will be very missed.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Joseph Sam, Virginia Sam, Patricia Hikes, Joyce Romero, Carol Ramos and Jason Romero.

Christopher is survived by his mother Virginia Sam, his father Charles (Chuck) Hikes, his children; Aieyden Pedersen and Kaysen Sam, his wife Kelly (Plachta) Sam, his sisters; Kim Sam and Karen Sam, his brother Anthony Passarelli and his aunties; Audra Bonelle, Terri Hikes and Candi Hikes and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the Chiminsing Community Center with Chato officiating.  The wake will begin at dusk on Monday, December 19, 2022 also at the Center.  Burial will be at Faith Lutheran Cemetery.
