Charles H. Johnson, age 81, passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2021.

He was born in Bemidji, MN, spent his childhood in Giese, MN, and was a resident of Cottage Grove, MN at the time of his passing.

Charles is survived by devoted wife and partner, Jody, and loving daughters, Lori (Bill) Sunderman and Alicia Davis. He is also survived by siblings, Mardell Kolak, Vern (Shirley Botten), Joyce Josephs (Tino Vasquez), Les (Sandy), Gary, Arli (Bill) Klavetter, Martha (Les) Fayt, Ruth Ann (Bob) Chryst, and Linda (Jim) Hammon; by grandchildren, Matthew, Corey (Stephanie), Kaitlyn (Reno) Pemberton, Landon, Makenna, and Kamryn; by great-grandchildren Brookston, Kashton, Mason, Easton, and Dawson; by numerous nieces and nephews and their families; and, by good friends and countless acquaintances. He is preceded in death by parents, Ruth and Herman and brothers Harold, David, and Orville.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Dresser-Methven Funeral Home in Mora with Rev. Bill Klavetter officiating.  Visitation will be from 5-6 P.M.   A private burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora at a later date.
