Carol Jean Perrin, of Mora, passed away at her home on December 20, 2022.  She was 81 years old.

Carol was born in Haybrook Township, Minnesota on December 15, 1941 to Arthur and Elsie (VonVett) Zortman. She attended Isle High School and was a cheerleader. She worked as a chiropractic assistant and was a member of Long Lake Lutheran Church in Isanti, Minnesota, where she helped plan many happy weddings and participated in the Live Nativity for 27 years..

In 1974 she married the love of her life, Lynn Perrin and together they made life an adventure.  They took the family on camping and fishing trips and even had a motorhome for a while.  They supported their kids and grandkids in sports and adventures.  Carol loved all of her family and all the time they spent together.

Carol enjoyed quilting, sewing, baking, cooking, fishing in Canada and playing board games.  She loved watching her Minnesota sports teams, especially the Vikings and Twins.  She always looked forward to family vacations and especially enjoyed Alaskan cruises.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lynn Perrin, her parents Elsie and Arthur Zortman, sister Connie Strandberg, brothers; Richard and David Zortman, and grandson Blaine Olson.

Carol is survived by her children; Julie (Duane) Tate, Cathy (Bob) Adams, Bill (Loni) Olson, Bob (Bonnie Barlowe) Olson, Brenda (David) Rono, Vicki (Don) Borowick, Grant (Kari) Perrin, John Perrin, and Robert Sederberg, 24 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren, with three more due in 2023, her siblings; Janice Erbstoesser, Bob Zortman, and Gary Zortman, many nieces, nephews, and so many friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11:00AM at Long Lake Lutheran Church in Isanti, Minnesota with Pastor Sue Olson officiating.  There will be a visitation at Dresser Methven Funeral Chapel in Mora, Minnesota on Thursday January 5, 2023 from 5:00PM-7:00PM as well as one hour prior to the service at the church.
