In Loving Memory of Carol Maureen Anderson

Carol Maureen Anderson, a beloved resident of Isle, MN, peacefully departed this world on November 19th, 2023, at the age of 90, following a brief illness. She was surrounded by the love of her two devoted daughters, Heidi and Cindy. Carol's final moments unfolded serenely within the comfort of her cherished home.

Born in Zimmerman, MN, Carol later made her home in the Minneapolis area before settling in Isle. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly at her house on Lake Mille Lacs. A passionate birdwatcher, she found solace in observing the variety of birds that graced her window daily, with hummingbirds holding a special place in her heart.

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Jenny, the hospice nurse, for the exceptional care, compassion, and assistance she provided.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Donavan Anderson, and son, Ricky John Anderson.

She is survived by daughters, Heidi and Cindy (Tad), grandsons, Dylan and Ty, and great-grandson, Kylan along with many nieces and nephews.

Carol's gentle and giving nature and devotion as a wife, mother, and grandmother will remain etched in the hearts of those who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2024.
