Bradley Roy Kath, born on April 21, 1959, in Hollywood, California, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2024, at the age of 65, surrounded by his family, after losing his fight to cancer. Brad grew up in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, where he graduated from White Bear Lake Mariner High School in 1977.

Brad spent his early years in White Bear Lake before moving to Big Marine Lake, where he raised his family with Sheila. His life's journey eventually led him north, where he found solace in a cabin in the woods—his cherished retreat.

Brad had a passion for adventure and the outdoors. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, hunting, searching for agates, and boating. He was an avid fisherman, once stating, "I am not ready to die, I'm not done fishing yet," reflecting his enduring spirit and passion for life. Among his favorite places in the world were Mille Lacs Lake and Maui, Hawaii, where he found great joy and peace. Brad had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature, which he expressed through art, painting, wood carving, and drawing. Music was another one of Brad's great loves, and he enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, and playing the harmonica, sharing his talents with family and friends. Brad also had a special place in his heart for his pets, who were his faithful companions throughout his life.

His deep faith in God was a guiding force in his life, and he was known for his kindness and generosity. Brad was the kind of person who would literally give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and loyal friend, whose love for his family and friends was evident in everything he did.

Brad was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Kath, and his brother, Craig "Mel" Kath. He is survived by his mother, June Kath; his son, Hunter (Samantha) Kath; his daughters, Carly Kath and Makena (Jared) Blue; and his beloved grandchildren, Truett, Abilene, Taelynn, and River. He also leaves behind his sister, Jayme (Ted) Usher, and many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

Celebration Of Life will be held Saturday, October 19th 2pm-7pm.
