Beverly Lorraine Waddell, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, at the age of 97. She was born on September 26, 1927, in Milwaukee, WI, living in Brooklyn Park, MN for some time, and later making her home in Isle, MN, where she created countless memories with her family and friends.

Beverly graduated from Patrick Henry High School and furthered her education at the Minnesota School of Business. She spent 25 years as a switchboard operator at The Dorsey Law Firm in Minneapolis, a role she cherished greatly.

In 1945, Beverly married Frank Renko, with whom she shared a lively life raising five wonderful children, until his passing in 1965. In 1971, she found love again with Clint Waddell, and they enjoyed 53 wonderful years together until her death. Beverly was, above all, a dedicated mother and a loving partner to Clint, sharing a spirit of adventure that drew them into the great outdoors and hiking trails.

For 25 years, Beverly was an enthusiastic member of the Silver Thread Dancers, captivating audiences with her grace and energy. She also took part in local community theatre, bringing joy and laughter to many. Never one to shy away from new experiences, she was also deeply engaged in her local garden club. Her love for nature and community was a testament to her vibrant spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard, husband Frank Renko, and her children; Frank Dale, Ronald Anton, and Becky Lou.

Beverly is survived by her devoted husband, Clint, her daughter Pat (Ellis) Ekker, son Chris (Jan) Renko, grandchildren; Mike (Monique) Ekker, Steve Ekker, Dan Ekker, Sarah (Jason) Warner, Joe (Jes) Ekker, Dana (Travis) Meyer, C.J. (Joelle) Renko, Katie (Jon) Quast, Kelsey Loch, Robin Loch and 14 great grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 24th at 2:00PM at the home of Jan and Chris Renko, 4484 E Shamineau Dr, Motley, MN 56466.
