Obituary

Beverly Jean (Douglas) Schueller, (nee McNamara) of Cambridge, MN, formerly of Mora, MN, passed away peacefully at Walker Methodist Levande surrounded by her loving family on February 29th, 2024 at the age of 92 years.

Bev and John "Jack" Maynard Douglas Jr. were united in marriage on June 4, 1954. They resided primarily in Minnesota where they raised their five children. Bev worked at Fingerhut Manufacturing and Jack conducted their business, Douglas & Sons Livestock. They enjoyed raising their children and travels "pounding around the countryside" including trips to the Western U.S. and Alaska. Jack passed away on November 16, 1984.

On October 22, 1988, Bev married Eugene Schueller, a retired accountant and postal employee. Together they enjoyed many years of "kicking up their heels" on the dance floor, Thursday happy hours, and travels including mystery trips and cruises.

Bev was an excellent cook, baker, homemaker, and holiday creator. She enjoyed dancing, a good game of cards, playing her accordion, word puzzles, vigorous walks, laughing, good conversations, and many fun times with her family in her home state of North Dakota.

Bev is survived by her husband Eugene Schueller, and her four children: Sandra (Ernest Sandoval) Douglas, Sherry (Timothy) Kalamarz, Dennis (Debbie Chagnon, fiancée) Douglas, Shelley (Rick) Evenson, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, five stepchildren: Daniel (Carolyn) Schueller, Julie (Brian Pederson) Schueller, Victoria Schueller (Paul Gatz), Randy (Gayle) Schueller, Erik Schueller, 12 step-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, seven siblings: Audrey Vollmer, Avis Axtman, Janice (Dave) Meyer, James McNamara, Larry McNamara, Darrell (Norma) McNamara, Dean (Connie) McNamara, and sister-in-law Arlene Pearson. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Douglas, Sons Robert John Douglas, Rick Allen Douglas; and brother John McNamara.

We (the family) would like to thank the Walker Methodist Levande and Kaleidoscope staffs and hospice caregivers Missy, Megan, Nickey, Naomi, and Ashley from Ecumen Hospice for their compassionate loving care of our ever loved mom.

In memory of Bev, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Ecumen Hospice. Your contributions will honor Bev's legacy of compassion and care for others during their time of need.
