Barry Dean Johnson, 75, of Sandstone passed away August 30th after a hard fight with Parkinson's and Macular Degeneration of both eyes.

Barry is survived by his wife, Paulette. He's also survived by his sister, Ranee and his brother, Don (Cathy), sister-in-laws, Norine and Patrice (Bryan), along with several nieces and nephews. His daughter, Gina (Jeff) and her two children, Fisher and Jaxon and his daughter Jodi (Matt) and her two children, Beau and Brandon and his stepson, Jeff and his three children, Dustin, Darrin and Ben. Barry was preceded in death by his mother, his father and his brother, Jimmy.

Barry was an avid outdoorsman when he was home in Minnesota, but also enjoyed his winters in Texas. He loved taking the four wheelers on trail rides and watching outdoor reality tv such as Alone and Survivor. Occasionally, you could catch him watching America's Got Talent. One of his hobbies was buying recreational vehicles, finishing necessary work on them and then reselling them. Him and his wife, Paulette would've celebrated 40 years married later this year. Barry was a favorite of many and he will be greatly missed.

Services will be held for Barry at a later time.
