Barbara Kay Sadler, of Hinckley, Minnesota, passed away on January 5, 2025 at her home.  She was 72 years old.

Barb was born on July 8, 1952 to Olaf and Marilyn (Stover) Edin in Moose Lake, Minnesota.  She was the oldest of six children and grew up on the family farm in Duquette, Minnesota.  She attended Kerrick Elementary School and later graduated from Askov High School.

Barb married Steven Sadler on March 13, 1971.  They made their home in rural Hinckley and were blessed with three children; Todd, Carrie and Ryan.  Barb worked for the ASCS office in Hinckley for many years and later worked for Pine County Land and Zoning, Carlson Timber, Pine Medical Center, and Hinckley Finlayson High School kitchen before retiring in 2021.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking/baking, cross stitching, babysitting the grandkids and great-grandkids and especially being with family and friends, all of whom she dearly loved.  She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and a loving friend to all.

Barb is survived by her sons Todd (Dawn) and Ryan and daughter Carrie (Jason) Hampey, her six grandchildren; Amanda (Ryan), Bret (Anna), Tom, Shannon, Adam, and Jacob, three great-grandchildren; Cora, Addison and Bristol, three brothers; Eric (Cathy), Jeff (Clara), Scott (Marcie), two sisters, sister in law Marion Sadler, and many cousins, nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, and many friends.

Barb was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, infant brother John and husband Steve.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00am at Zion Lutheran Church, Cloverdale, with Wendy Reamer-Johnson, SAM officiating.  There will be a visitation on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Tatting Methven Chapel in Hinckley, Minnesota as well as one hour prior to the service at the church.
