Austin Michael Nelson, 25, unexpectedly passed away on February 14, 2024, in his hometown of Sandstone, MN. He was born on December 10, 1998, in Moose Lake, MN. Austin loved spending time with his children, playing card games and video games, making people laugh, and he enjoyed cooking anyone his signature pasta, Chicken Alfredo.

Austin had the biggest heart and lit up any room he was in with his infectious smile. His hearty laugh and loving spirit extended beyond his family. Austin's companionship will be profoundly missed, but his memory will continue to be a beacon of light and joy for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Austin is survived by his children: Jackson Nelson (5) and Kingston Nelson (3), sister: Ashley Nelson, parents: Timothy Nelson and Jennifer Marx, and many more family & friends.

A celebration of life to honor Austin will be held on Saturday, May 25 at Robinson Park in Sandstone, Minnesota from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.  Family and friends are invited to share memories and celebrate Austin's life. His spirit, characterized by generosity, warmth, and kindness, will continue to live on in the hearts of all the lives he touched.
