Annette M. Petersen, 92, passed away November 22, 2023. She was born in Hinckley, MN, on December 9, 1930, to John Wendell and Selma Christine (Opsahl) Harth. After graduating from Hinckley High School, class of 1949, she attended St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN and received her teaching degree. Later she received a BA degree from Oklahoma University, Oklahoma City, OK. In 1985 she retired from Spring Branch Independent School District, Houston, Texas.

On August 22, 1956, she was married to Dale F. Petersen in Billings, MT. Dale's work with Shell Oil Company brought many transfers to various locations, including Damascus, Syria.

Surviving Annette are her twin daughters Vicki and Barbara and their respective husbands Don and Guy. Grandson Ryan. Granddaughters Amy and Kimberly and their respective husbands Justin and Joshua. Great-grandson Grady. Great-granddaughters Olivia, Shelbee and Ashley.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 56 years Dale, her parents, granddaughter Lauren, brothers Calvin (Ruth) Harth, Gerald (Arlene) Harth, John (Joann) Harth and Leonard (Margaret) Harth.

Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church in Cloverdale, MN with Wendy Reamer-Johnson, SAM officiating.  Visitation will be on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00  P.M. at Tatting Methven Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery in Hinckley.
