Alyce Ann Nestor of Askov, MN, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2024, at Essentia-St. Mary's Campus in Duluth, MN. She was 59 years young.

Born in St. Paul on February 18, 1965, Alyce was raised in Anoka and resided in various locations until she settled in Askov in 1996 with her husband, Philip Nestor Jr, whom she married on July 24, 1985.

A dedicated homemaker, Alyce also ran the Askov youth center when her children were younger and assisted in the kitchen at her daughter's business, Banning Junction. In the last few years, Alyce volunteered at Daisys Thrift Store in Bruno on Tuesdays and Thursdays, where she met so many people who adored her.

Alyce valued her family above all else, finding immense joy in her husband, children, and grandchildren. She played a significant role in raising all her grandchildren and had a special bond with her beloved dog, Minnie.

Known for her love of crafts, thrift shopping, jewelry collecting, and decorating her yard with unique art, Alyce lived life to the fullest. She had a big heart and stood by her beliefs firmly, even when they were challenged.

Alyce is survived by her husband, Philip Nestor Jr. of Askov, MN; her children Nicholas Nestor (Breanna Wohlberg) of Askov, MN, Katie (Erick) Storebo of Bruno, MN, Benjamin Allee (Megan Roloff) of Milaca, MN, Dylan Nestor (Kearie Schwisow) of Askov MN; her grandkids, Alex Nestor, Brantley and Astoria Alle, Pazely Nestor; step grandkids, Shaughnessy, Megan and Sydney Storebo; her siblings, Chuck (Joann) Johansen, Donald (Patrocita) Johansen, Julie (Tim) Berg, Amy Jo Olson, Marlo Leitte (Roger Dehn), many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Joan (Crawford) Olson, sister, Mary Ableiter, step grandson, Bryan Storebo, and her best friend, Kelly McDonald

A celebration of Alyce's life will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the Askov Pavilion 6324 H C Andersen Alle, Askov, MN 55704 from 2:00 pm- 5:00 pm. Her memories will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and those whose lives she touched.
