Alice May Anschutz died on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Sandstone Health Care Center.  She was 95 years old.

Alice was born on November 12, 1926 in Chicago, IL to Chris and Mathilda (Linsmeyer) Anschutz.  She spent her childhood years in Wisconsin and adulthood in Northeast Minneapolis and North Minneapolis.

Alice was a member of St. Austin's Catholic Church for many years.  She enjoyed casinos, bingo, embroidery and family and friends.  She touched everyone she met and was known for her sense of humor to make people smile.  She was known as "Alice the Great" to many.

She is preceded in death by her biological mother, Matilda; her father Chris; mother, Florence; her brother, Carl; her daughter, Kay and granddaughter, Angela.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Karen (Bruce) Planert of Freedom, WI; her son, Jeff (Jody) Anschutz of Circle Pines, MN; her daughter, Pamela (Mark) Riggle of Hinckley; her brother, Chris Anschutz of Black Creek, WI; nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
