On Sunday, November 28, 2021 Alan Todd White, age 56, ended his journey on earth peacefully at home after living for over two years with glioblastoma (brain cancer).

Alan served over twenty years in the United States Army and Army Reserve. He also worked for over twenty years in the field of corrections, retiring from FCI Sandstone upon his diagnosis in 2019. Alan was a man of few words but many strong beliefs. He believed in honesty, love and family. He was the rock and foundation for Team White and will be greatly missed by them all.

Alan will be greatly missed by his soulmate and one true love of over 31 years Karry White of Sandstone, Minn., along with his children Alanea White of Sandstone, Minn.; Nicholas (Katherine) White of Bemidji, Minn.; Cassandra White of Sandstone, Minn.; his mother Donna White of Lennox, S.D.; his father-in-law Barry Bultena of Beresford, S.D.; as well as his many siblings, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life is planned on December 10, 2021 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Sandstone Area Golf Course at 343 Lark Street in Sandstone, Minn. In lieu of flowers, Team White is requesting monetary donations to be given to Panther Park in Sandstone. An account has been set up at Northview Bank in Sandstone in Karry White's name, please designate or note funds for Panther Park.
