*Welcome! We are now celebrating our one hundredth year in operation. A big part of our celebration will be completed construction on a new funeral establishment for our Mora location. We have purchased the former Kanabec State Bank building, located across the street from our current location, and are proud to announce that construction is completed. Our new 5,000 square foot facility has doubled our seating capacity. Feel free to drop by anytime to take a tour and get a cup of coffee.
Methven Funeral Homes is a locally owned and operated funeral service and cremation provider with chapels in the towns of Mora, Sandstone, Hinckley and Isle, Minnesota. Methven Funeral Homes also owns and operates five Twin Cities locations in Anoka, New Brighton, Blaine, Columbia Heights and North East Minneapolis. This is an important link with our Northern locations in that we find many people have ties to the Twin Cities area. We are able to seamlessly provide transportation, funeral services, cremation services and burials from the Twin Cities to Central Minnesota.
Methven Funeral Homes has the only crematory between the Twin Cities and Duluth which is located at our Sandstone Chapel. This is known as East Central Cremation Society.
We truly and personally handle all facets and choices people have in the funeral process.
